Report: Tim Sherwood in talks with Crystal Palace

Tim Sherwood reportedly holds talks with Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish about the managerial vacancy following Tony Pulis's departure.

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood has reportedly begun talks with Crystal Palace regarding the vacancy left by Tony Pulis.

The Premier League outfit are hunting for a new boss following Pulis's shock departure last week.

According to the London Evening Standard, Sherwood met with Palace co-chairman Steve Parish on Sunday morning, but the club are planning interviews with a number of candidates.

Reports have claimed that Sherwood and ex-Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay are on a three-man shortlist for the position, which Pulis held for nine months.

Keith Millen is currently in temporary charge of the first team.
