Everton have a £39.5m bid for Italian striker Andrea Belotti rejected by Torino, according to a report.

Everton have reportedly seen a €45m (£39.5m) bid for Andrea Belotti rejected by Torino.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 15 occasions in 31 appearances in all competitions.

Belotti has registered nine goals in 23 Serie A outings this season, while he has netted 85 times in 179 appearances for Torino since arriving from Palermo in August 2015.

According to Tuttosport, the Toffees recently submitted a €45m (£39.5m) bid for the Italy international under the instruction of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

However, the report claims that Torino swiftly rejected the offer for the centre-forward.

Belotti's current deal with Moreno Longo's side will expire in the summer of 2022.
