Everton considering club-record deal for Andrea Belotti?

A report claims that Torino forward Andrea Belotti is a £52.5m target for Everton.

Everton are ready to make Torino forward Andrea Belotti their club-record signing, according to a report.

The 26-year-old has earned links to the Toffees after scoring 15 times in 31 appearances for Torino in all competitions this term.

AC Milan, Roma, Inter Milan and Napoli are all believed to be readying bids for the 27-cap Italy international, but Tuttosport claims that Everton are leading the race.

The Toffees are supposedly prepared to offer £52.5m for Belotti, which would see him overtake £44m midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson as the club's most expensive signing.

Everton are expected to strengthen their forward line ahead of next season after largely relying on Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin up top since Carlo Ancelotti took charge in December.
