Fulham manager Martin Jol has insisted that his relationship is "good" with full-back John Arne Riise following reports of a bust-up.
The 32-year-old has been linked with an exit from Craven Cottage after dropping out of the London club's first team following the festive Premier League schedule, but Jol claims that there have been no ill words between the pair.
"My relationship was fantastic and is probably still OK, it is still good," BBC Sport quotes Jol as saying.
"You know as well as I do that it is the same all the time in England, if a player isn't playing the reason is a bust-up, but I never had a bust-up with any player."
The former Liverpool full-back moved to Fulham from Roma in 2011.
