Former Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra is thought to be close to completing a move to Fulham until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has been without a club since his departure from Monaco last summer.
Cottagers boss Martin Jol has now edged nearer to securing the services of the Malian, according to the Daily Mail.
Diarra joined Real Madrid from Lyon in 2006 for around £22m before his switch to Monaco.
