Paddy McCourt has started a training stint with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.
The 29-year-old winger is a free agent following his release by champions Celtic at the end of last season.
"It's really just to keep his fitness up. He knows the manager from their short time together at Derry. He's just been in today to have a look around and do a bit of training," his brother and agent Leroy McCourt told reporters.
Despite having joined up with Hibs, it is believed that the Northern Ireland international is keen on a move to the MLS.
He has also been linked with a host of clubs in England, including Birmingham City and Peterborough United.
