Inter Milan midfielder Hernanes has urged fans to be patient following the team's disappointing start to the season.
The Nerazzurri are currently in eighth place in the Serie A table after winning three and losing two of their first eight games.
With pressure building on manager Walter Mazzarri, Hernanes insists that the players are doing all that they can to turn things around.
"The fans must be patient; it's been a delicate time for the club. A lot has changed. Let's not regret the past; we can build a successful future," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
"We need to support the team whilst it's finding its feet. The fans must believe in us, have faith and make an effort. We're doing all we can to take Inter to the very top."
Inter continue their Serie A campaign tonight (Wednesday) when they welcome Sampdoria to the San Siro.
