Jay Emmanuel-Thomas confirms this morning's speculation by revealing that he will leave Ipswich Town this summer.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has taken to Twitter this afternoon to confirm that he will depart Ipswich Town in the summer.

A report earlier today had claimed that the attacker had been placed on the transfer list by manager Mick McCarthy.

The 22-year-old has now proved the speculation to be correct by tweeting: "Time for a new adventure, had a great time but my time is up."

Emmanuel-Thomas joined the Tractor Boys in 2011 from Premier League outfit Arsenal for an undisclosed fee.
