West Ham United, Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United are all willing to offer Alan Smith a route out of Newcastle United.
The 31-year-old has played just four minutes of first-team football for the Magpies this season.
As a result, manager Alan Pardew is said to be keen on offloading the midfielder, who is on £60,000-a-week at St James' Park, according to The People.
Former Newcastle boss Sam Allardyce is thought to be willing to take Smith to West Ham, while new Doncaster manager Dean Saunders is still looking to boost his squad.
A return to old club Leeds is thought to be Smith's preferred destination, although whether the Elland Road outfit can afford his wages remains to be seen.
Smith joined Newcastle in 2007 from Manchester United.
