Martin Jol believes that Fulham should be content with competing in the Europa League, despite claiming that Liverpool are "happy" not to be involved in the competition.
The two Premier League sides go head to head at Craven Cottage this evening, and the Dutchman thinks that his Merseyside opponents have an advantage due to their lack of European football.
"Liverpool are quite happy not to be playing in the Europa League this season, anyway," the Daily Star quotes Jol as saying.
"I think Harry Redknapp at Tottenham said it can be quite a challenge. It seems to be a problem for other teams. But we can't complain because we are in Europe. We want to play in Europe, and we reached the final not so long ago."
Fulham sit two points above the drop zone, while the Reds hover in seventh place in the league table.
