Anzhi Makhachkala defender Christopher Samba has said that his teammates need to focus on their own performance when they take on Liverpool on Thursday night.
Liverpool host Anzhi in the Europa League on Thursday evening and Samba, who joined the Russian club from Blackburn Rovers, has insisted that his side must concentrate on their own game if they are to gain a result at Anfield.
Samba said: "It will be a good game. You have to do your best and hope for the best result.
"We have to concentrate on what we have to do and the way we play. With some players you can give them a bit of an education but everybody knows Liverpool, everybody knows they are a big team."
Samba scored 18 goals in 185 games during his time at Blackburn.
