Kenny Dalglish has said that he still considers the FA Cup final to be a "special" occasion.
The Liverpool boss, whose side take on Chelsea in the final this afternoon, believes that both sides have reached this stage of the competition because of their respect for what it stands for.
"I don't know if it's [still] the biggest fixture but for us tomorrow it is," he told the club's official website.
"I think we've treated the competition with respect. And I think that both teams have got their reward for that.
"The FA Cup final is special. We won't be aware of what's going on elsewhere, we'll just be concentrating on the final."
The Reds enter the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Fulham.
