Preview: FA Cup - Liverpool vs. Stoke

Liverpool and Stoke City face off at Anfield on Sunday with both clubs eager to add the FA Cup to their trophy cabinets.

Liverpool will have to overcome Stoke City in the FA Cup quarter-final in order to push on in their attempts to claim a second trophy for the club this season.

Kenny Dalglish's side are setting their sights on FA Cup glory after dropping ten points below fourth spot in the Premier League, with the Reds likely to field a strong side for the fixture.

Glen Johnson is likely to remain sidelined for the encounter with Martin Kelly keeping his spot and Jamie Carragher partnering Martin Skrtel at the back.

Steven Gerrard should occupy the middle of the park following the captain's hat-trick against Everton on Tuesday, with Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll up front.

Meanwhile, Peter Crouch is expected to face his former club at Anfield as Tony Pulis partners the striker with Jonathan Walters in attack.

Jermaine Pennant and Matthew Etherington could be installed on the wings for the Potters.
