Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit to face Watford on Saturday after overcoming a groin problem, according to a report.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold will be in contention to face Watford this weekend, according to a report.

The England international was prevented from linking up with Gareth Southgate's squad for October's World Cup qualifiers due to a groin injury he suffered last month.

Alexander-Arnold sat out games against Porto and Manchester City before the international break, with the versatile veteran James Milner deputising at right-back.

However, Jurgen Klopp was confident that Alexander-Arnold would be fit to return after the break, and The Telegraph reports that he has now recovered and will be available for selection on Saturday.

The good news for Klopp comes after he was dealt a blow on the attacking front with Diogo Jota, who has been sent home early from the Portugal camp due to a muscular issue.

Alexander-Arnold already boasts three assists from six games in all tournaments this season as Liverpool sit second in the Premier League table.
