Kenny Dalglish says that his side are focussed on picking up points.

Kenny Dalglish has said that his side are fully focussed on getting results, not on their recent run of form.

Liverpool, who have lost five of their last six league games, host Aston Villa at Anfield this afternoon on the back of three consecutive defeats. However, the Scot insists that his side have moved past the disappointment and are focused on their next fixture.

"We have to work for each other and with each other, and believe in what we're doing," he told the Liverpool Echo.

"The result last weekend was on the back of some other poor results which no-one is pleased with and no-one wants to accept.

"We have moved on and put the frustration and disappointment to one side. The focus is on getting a positive result."

Meanwhile, Liverpool are in eighth place in the Premier League.
