Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany has claimed that he does not fear Liverpool strikers Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge ahead of Sunday's trip to Anfield.
The pair have struck 49 times between them in the Premier League this season, with Suarez leading the race for the golden boot with 29 goals.
However, the Belgium international is not unnerved by the task of combating the prolific duo, insisting that he relishes such challenges.
"Let's talk about it after the game!" he told FourFourTwo. "I want to play against the strongest and the best. I think it gets the best out of me – I'm looking forward to it.
"I love the pressure – it's something that I need. This game has all the ingredients so it's perfect.
"We'll play against strong strikers, strong players, a strong team. You never have the guarantee you will have a good game or you will win but it is something worth fighting for and I like it that way."
Tomorrow's encounter on Merseyside is scheduled to kick off at 1.37pm.
