Liverpool have confirmed that they will play Roma in a pre-season friendly at Fenway Park in Boston on July 23.
The teams last met at the same venue in 2012 when Roma earned a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Michael Bradley and Alessandro Florenzi.
The stadium belongs to baseball team the Boston Red Sox, who are owned by Liverpool's owners Fenway Sports Group.
"Liverpool FC and AS Roma are two of the most highly regarded clubs in all of football and we're thrilled to welcome them back to Boston and showcase some of the world's top talent playing the 'Beautiful Game' right here on the pitch at Fenway Park," Liverpool's chairman Tom Werner told the club's official website.
Liverpool famously beat Roma on penalties in 1984 to win the European Cup.
