Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has hailed the improvement of midfielder Jordan Henderson.
The vice-captain is expected to take over the armband on a permanent basis when Steven Gerrard leaves in the summer, and Henderson has caught the eye with a series of impressive displays of late.
"For me, he's just improving every day," Rodgers told reporters.
"Tactically, his understanding of different systems and different ways of working is developing and he's really going to go on in the next few years and [improve].
"He's going to go on and show what a great player he is at a top club."
Henderson is expected to skipper the side once more when they host Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.
