Luis Suarez plays down Liverpool's Premier League title chances

Luis Suarez believes that Chelsea and Manchester City, and not Liverpool, are the frontrunners for the Premier League title.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has played down his side's chances of winning the Premier League title this season.

The Red are currently second in the table with 65 points from 30 matches, four points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

"I think the two teams that are the best candidates for the title are Chelsea and Manchester City," he told Sky Sports News.

"But we'll keep going. We work very hard and the focus is on the next two games because we're at home [against Sunderland and Tottenham Hotspur].

"It's so difficult to win the title but in football you never know."

Suarez scored a hat-trick for Liverpool in their 6-3 away win against Cardiff City on Saturday.
