Burnley forward Danny Ings has reportedly turned down the chance to join Real Sociedad in order to move to Liverpool at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has been regularly linked with both clubs, but was thought to have signed a pre-contract agreement with David Moyes's La Liga outfit.
However, The Mirror claims that Ings has decided against joining the San Sebastian club as he wants to move to Anfield in the summer.
While Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest in the England Under-21 international, it is thought that Ings has already chosen to join the Reds.
If Ings does join Liverpool, it could provide Burnley with a windfall of up to £6m in compensation, whereas a move to Real Sociedad is only expected to earn the Clarets around £300,000.
