Manchester City's out-of-favour goalkeeper Joe Hart is said to be "furious" over his treatment under new manager Pep Guardiola.
The 29-year-old, who has been with the Blues for 10 years, was dropped as number one by the Spaniard coach ahead of the new Premier League season, with Wilfredo Caballero instead preferred between the sticks.
Guardiola is thought to be close to securing the services of Barcelona keeper Claudio Bravo in a move which would see Hart drop to number-three choice should he remain in the City setup.
According to the Daily Mail, Hart is angry that he was not informed of Guardiola's plans to drop him sooner, having reportedly heard that the decision was made some time ago.
The newspaper claims that Hart believes that City deliberately refused to show their hand earlier in order to secure a better price for his replacement and as a consequence, he has been left with little time to find a new club.
Everton were thought to be the frontrunners for Hart's signature but according to The Express, new manager Ronald Koeman has now opted against making a move this month.
The Toffees' Merseyside rivals Liverpool have also been monitoring Hart's situation amid continuing doubts over the long-term suitability of Simon Mignolet at Anfield.
