Liverpool striker Danny Ings has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leeds United.
Ings has spent much of his time at Liverpool on the sidelines, with the 25-year-old suffering two serious knee injuries at Anfield since moving to Merseyside in June 2015.
Four goals have been scored in just 12 appearances in all competitions - with Ings's last outing coming as a second-half substitute in Liverpool's 2-0 defeat to Leicester City in September's EFL Cup tie - but it appears that the forward will attract interest at the start of 2018.
According to ESPN, Leeds are keen to boost their firepower when the winter transfer window opens in January, with the Yorkshire giants having regularly come up short away from Elland Road.
Leeds remain in a playoff position in the Championship standings, but they have scored just one goal in trips to Millwall, Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.
During the 2013-14 campaign, Ings netted 21 goals at the second tier to help former club Burnley gain promotion to the top flight.
