Liverpool have reportedly made a €25m (£22.5m) offer for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and the stopper's former coach recently claimed that Liverpool were in pole position to sign him.
According to Turkish journalist Serdar Ali Celikler, the European champions have now made an offer for Cakir as they attempt to secure his signature during the upcoming transfer window.
"I've made some calls with my Trabzonspor sources. I can confirm that Liverpool have made a bid for Ugurcan Cakir, which is worth €25m (£22.5m)," Celikler told VOLE's Youtube channel.
Cakir - capped twice by the Turkish national side - has made 33 appearances for Trabzonspor during the 2019-20 campaign, conceding 39 times in the process.
Tottenham Hotspur have also recently been credited with an interest.
