Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly decides to keep teenage striker Rhian Brewster at Anfield, rather than allowing him to go out on loan to a Football League club.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly opted against loaning out Rhian Brewster during the January transfer window.

At just 17, Brewster is yet to make his debut for the first team at Anfield, although the teenager has impressed for the England Under-17 side at the World Cup.

However, according to The Sun, there is no rush for the forward to gain experience in the senior ranks and Klopp has no plans to send the youngster out on loan.

Clubs have allegedly been eyeing up a short-term deal in January, but Klopp wants Brewster to continue his development under his own guidance.

Brewster scored three goals for England at the Under-17 European Championships earlier this year, while the striker has one goal to his name at the ongoing World Cup, where England are preparing to face Japan in the last 16 on Tuesday.
