Luke Shaw has said that Rickie Lambert "deserves everything" following his move to Liverpool.
The Anfield side confirmed that the Southampton striker had joined the club earlier today, having undergone a medical at the weekend.
Shaw, who is currently part of the England World Cup squad alongside Lambert, posted on Instagram: "So happy for Lambo, he deserves everything he gets, been a massive part of Southampton's recent success, his dream really is coming true and I wish him all the best and success in his new journey, thanks for everything."
Lambert, who was born in Kirkby in Merseyside, spent his youth career with Liverpool before moving to Blackpool in 1998.
