Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Moussa Diaby has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for West Ham United.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a productive campaign with the German side this campaign, contributing 16 goals and 11 assists from 35 outings in the Bundesliga and Europa League.
Possessing a contract until 2025, Diaby faces the possibility of being kept at Leverkusen, particularly if the club qualify for next season's Champions League.
However, according to Calciomercato, West Ham are planning to make an approach for the Frenchman during the summer transfer window.
Much will depend on West Ham's own attempt at qualifying for Europe, the Hammers realistically needing to win the Europa League if they are to playing at European football's top table in 2022-23.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with Diaby in the past, while the player is unlikely to be short of admirers from the other top leagues on the continent.
