CSKA Moscow to target Costel Pantilimon

CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutsky reveals that his side will attempt to target replacement keeper Costel Pantilimon when they face Manchester City tomorrow.

CSKA Moscow manager Leonid Slutsky has revealed that his side will look to target Costel Pantilimon when they face Manchester City in the Champions League tomorrow night.

Pantilimon will play his third consecutive match for City having replaced Joe Hart as the club's number one keeper due to a number of high-profile errors from the Englishman.

"Our main task will be to test Pantilimon tomorrow, to see how good he is, the second goalkeeper. But I don't think it will affect our tactics. Obviously Hart is better known to us but we will face Pantilimon," Slutsky told reporters.

"We cannot be guided by just one match as to who will play and how they play.
"We know that [Manuel] Pellegrini uses different set-ups on the pitch and tries to plan their attack.

"There may be different options. But Manchester City are a very strong team and we will do our best."

Meanwhile, Slutsky also claimed that the Yaya Toure racism row that overshadowed the reverse fixture between the two sides was "exaggerated".
