Graham Wallace has been appointed as the new chief executive of Rangers with immediate effect.
The 52-year-old joins the Gers having left Manchester City, where he spent four years.
His initial role at the Etihad Stadium was as City's chief financial and administration officer, but he later became the club's chief operating officer.
Rangers chairman David Somers told the club's official website: "I am absolutely delighted to welcome Graham to the role of chief executive of Rangers Football Club.
"Following an extensive recruitment process the Board interviewed several high calibre individuals and determined that Graham was by far the outstanding candidate for the position."
Wallace added: "I am delighted to join Rangers Football Club as chief executive as the club continues its journey back to the pinnacle of the game in Scotland and beyond."
Wallace's previous employers also include IMG Media and MTV Networks Europe.
