Sergio Aguero has assured Manchester City fans that his future lies with the club amid speculation linking him with Real Madrid.
The Argentine has enjoyed an excellent debut season in England, but recent reports have suggested that Madrid hope to bring him back to La Liga in the summer.
However, Aguero has dismissed the rumours and stressed that he plans to stay at the Etihad Stadium for a "long time" after hopefully securing Premier League glory with the Citizens.
"None of the stories about Real Madrid have come from me and the City fans can rest assured I am happy here," he told The Sun.
"First and foremost, the major aim is to win the league title this season. Then I want to stay here for a long time after that.
"I'm very, very happy here. From the moment I arrived, everyone has treated me really well. It's down to me to repay that kindness and good feeling I've had from everyone with some performances out on the field."
Aguero joined City from Madrid's cross-city rivals Atletico for a fee of around £38m in July.
