Manchester City have reportedly agreed a €27m (£23.3m) fee for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic.
The Italians had wanted €30m (£26m) for the Montenegro international and it is thought that City will pay the extra €3m (£2.6m) in performance-related bonuses.
According to Goal.com, The 23-year-old's representatives will meet with City sporting director Txiki Begiristain in the next 24 hours and are confident of concluding the deal.
Fiorentina have been open about the possibility of selling Jovetic all summer, and although Manchester United had also been linked with him, it seems that City have won the race for his signature.
City completed various medical assessments on Jovetic at a medical centre in Florence ahead of the move, and will pay the forward £80,000 per week.
Fiorentina have already signed German international Mario Gomez as Jovetic's replacement.
