Manchester City are reportedly hopeful of persuading Leroy Sane to commit to a new long-term contract before the end of the campaign.
The German forward has two full seasons left to run on his existing deal, which is believed to be worth around £90,000 a week.
According to The Mirror, Sane will double his weekly pay if he puts pen to paper and extends his terms beyond 2021, with City keen to fend off interest from rival clubs.
The report indicates that talks have been ongoing since last autumn and no agreement has yet been reached, but the Citizens are confident that a new contract will be finalised over the next couple of months.
Sane, who joined City from Schalke 04 in a £37m transfer in 2016, has played a direct part in 27 goals in all competitions this season.
