Tom Cleverley makes his Manchester United comeback against Ajax in the Europa League after four months on the sidelines.

Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley returns to the Red Devils' starting lineup following months on the sidelines with injury, while Phil Jones and Nani also make their comebacks for the club in the Europa League fixture against Ajax.

The return of the English playmaker will be a welcome boost to the Premier League champions, who have experienced a number of injury woes in the midfield area this season.

Sir Alex Ferguson has enlisted the services of Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez up front, which means that England international Danny Welbeck drops to the bench in Amsterdam.

Ashley Young has been called to occupy the wing while Rio Ferdinand and Jonny Evans hold the line in defence.

Ajax: Vermeer; Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Anita, Koppers; Eriksen, De Jong, Aissati, Sulejmani; Bulykin, Ozbiliz

Manchester United: De Gea; Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Fabio; Nani, Carrick, Cleverley, Young; Rooney, Hernandez
