Hannibal Mejbri has been named in the Manchester United squad for Friday's FA Cup fourth-round clash with Championship outfit Middlesbrough.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Red Devils from Monaco in 2019, made his senior debut for the English giants against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League last May.
Mejbri has recently been in action for Tunisia at the Africa Cup of Nations but is now back at Old Trafford and has been promoted to the first-team squad on a full-time basis.
Man United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has revealed that the teenager will be involved in Friday's match against Middlesbrough at Old Trafford.
"We have Hannibal included in the squad," Rangnick told MUTV. "He will, from now on, regularly train with us and be a regular member of the squad. He will also be part of the squad for tomorrow's cup game.
"To be honest, I haven't seen that much of him as he was with the national team. I saw him play in the tournament, not the Africa Cup of Nations but the one before [the Arab Cup].
"I saw him play in the final and, from what I've seen so far, I think he's a promising talent. He deserves to be part of the group for the rest of the season and also part of the group for tomorrow's game."
The central midfielder, who has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2026, featured twice for Tunisia at the Africa Cup of Nations.
