Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is "impatient", but not like Hatem Ben Arfa, according to former Lyon coach Remi Garde.
The 19-year-old - who joined United from Monaco on transfer deadline day - was desperate to play football as a teenager according to Garde, who suggests that the youngster had a different attitude to former Newcastle United forward Ben Arfa.
"He wasn't a Hatem Ben Arfa kind of character," Garde told the Daily Mail. "Anthony's parents were not desperate for him to become famous or a star.
"Karim [Benzema] and Hatem were signed young by Lyon but Martial might have been the youngest player we gave a professional contract.
"With regards to the football, he could be impatient. When he was training with the youth team, he was asking all the time to be with the reserves."
Martial could make his Manchester United debut against Liverpool on Saturday, September 12.
