Manchester United forward Edinson Cavani is reportedly keen to sign for Boca Juniors in the summer.
With his contract at Old Trafford coming to an end and United nor Cavani having little interest in renewing terms, the Uruguay international will depart as a free agent.
A wide range of clubs are known to be admirers of the veteran frontman, but a return to his native South America appears to be the most likely option.
According to AS, Cavani is currently evaluating whether to make the switch to the Argentine club who are known to want to get a deal over the line.
The 35-year-old has not played in South America since 2007 when he represented Danubio, Cavani departing his local team to sign for Palermo at the time.
Cavani has not made an appearance for United since a substitute outing versus Atletico Madrid on March 15 and he could have realistically made his final outing for the club.
