Fiorentina chief executive Joe Barone says that the Serie A club "will consider" offers for Sofyan Amrabat, who has allegedly agreed personal terms with Manchester United.

Fiorentina chief executive Joe Barone has said that his club "will consider" offers for Sofyan Amrabat during this summer's transfer window.

The 26-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation since he starred for Morocco at the 2022 World Cup, helping his side to reach the semi-finals of the competition.

Amrabat also had a productive 2022-23 campaign at club level, featuring on 49 occasions in all competitions, with Fiorentina reaching the final of the Europa Conference League and Coppa Italia.

Barcelona were heavily linked with the Moroccan in January and have again been credited with an interest in his services during the early stages of the summer transfer window.

However, Man United are currently believed to be the favourites for his signature, with the Red Devils allegedly coming to an agreement with him over personal terms.

Barone has said that Fiorentina are yet to receive an offer for the midfielder but would be open to listening to any bids that potentially arrive for him.

"We have not received any bid or proposal for him at all," Barone told reporters. "He's a Fiorentina player now. If an offer comes, we will consider it."

Speaking ahead of the Europa Conference League final against West Ham United, Amrabat revealed that he would be open to making the move to the Premier League.

"Of course, the Premier League is a fantastic league, one of the strongest in the world. It would be nice to play there one day, but it's not that I want only to go to England, because Spain is nice, Serie A is a nice league," he told reporters at the time.

"Football has changed a lot, it's more physical, you have more to be an athlete, the tempo and intensity is higher. Of course, in England the intensity is very high, so I think it could suit me."

Amrabat made the move to Fiorentina from Club Brugge in 2020, and he has represented the Purples on 107 occasions in all competitions, scoring once and providing one assist in the process.

Man United are on the verge of securing the signature of Mason Mount from Chelsea, with the attacker set to move to Stamford Bridge for an initial £55m fee.

However, the Red Devils are thought to be open to bringing in another player in that area of the field, with Fred, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek all being linked with exits.

Man United are also bidding to sign a new centre-forward this summer, while there remains uncertainty surrounding their goalkeeping situation, with David de Gea's deal expiring on June 30.
