Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane has insisted that teammate Jack Grealish "deserves everything he gets" amid speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have reportedly made Grealish their top midfield transfer target for the upcoming window, despite Villa refusing to budge on their £80m asking price.
Hourihane has already courted controversy by admitting that Grealish is "too good" for Villa at the moment, and now he has admitted that the 24-year-old faces a "tough decision" over his future.
"Jack's obviously hugely-talented. He's our talisman. He's had a fantastic season and he's been linked with so many clubs at the top of every league around Europe," Hourihane told Sky Sports News.
"Listen, it's going to be a tough summer for Jack and a tough decision but, first and foremost, he keeps us up. That's the most important thing for the football club.
"Then, whatever Jack decides to do, that'll be up to himself. He deserves everything he gets. For me, he should be in that England squad because he's got that something else nobody else has got, in my opinion."
Grealish has scored nine goals and assisted eight more in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
