Juventus send their director of football to London to help finalise a deal to offload striker Mario Mandzukic to Manchester United, according to a report.

Juventus have reportedly sent their director of football to London to help finalise a deal to offload Mario Mandzukic to Manchester United.

The 33-year-old striker has been linked with a move to United for several months and he is yet to feature for Maurizio Sarri's side this season.

Mandzukic has been training alone to keep himself in top shape, and now La Stampa reports that Juve sent Fabio Paratici to London to help thrash out the terms of a deal with United.

Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to want to sign the Croat for £13m in order to boost United's attacking options and the footballing education available to young forwards Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood.

Mandzukic, whose former clubs include Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich, has scored 43 goals in 160 appearances since joining the Italian giants in 2015.

The report also suggests that Paratici may field an enquiry about the likelihood of Paul Pogba making a return to Juventus at the end of the season.
