Manchester United target Justin Kluivert is in the middle of positive talks with Ajax over a contract extension, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
The 18-year-old son of retired Dutch star Patrick Kluivert has reportedly attracted attention from numerous clubs, including United and his father's former club Barcelona.
The teenager recently admitted that he would be open to joining a Premier League club, but now Raiola has suggested that his client will stay put.
"The negotiations are running well and there are no ripples in the water, but I have a duty to handle this very carefully," Raiola told De Telegraaf.
"At Ajax, Justin is still playing under a small contract and there is a lot of interest for him, an exceptional amount and from the biggest clubs.
"You have to take those noises seriously too, because we are dealing with one of the greatest talents in the world."
Kluivert has scored six goals and created four assists in 21 Eredivisie appearances.
