Leicester City are ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race to sign Bournemouth winger David Brooks, according to a report.
The versatile 23-year-old, who is comfortable playing on either wing or in central midfield, has been tipped to leave Bournemouth following their relegation to the Championship.
Brooks missed the majority of 2019-20 with a long-term injury, but he returned after the coronavirus shutdown and did not take long to regain his form.
United showed an interest in Brooks before he injured his ankle last year and are rumoured to have made contact with Bournemouth this summer.
However, the Manchester Evening News reports that Leicester are ready to make an offer for the Wales international and are now considered the frontrunners to sign him.
Leicester finished fifth in the Premier League last season and begin their 2020-21 campaign with a trip to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
