Manchester United are reportedly planning to launch a bid for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window.
The Poland international has been linked to the Red Devils in the past, but the 26-year-old eventually decided to make the controversial move from Borussia Dortmund to the Allianz Arena last year.
Now, according to the Daily Mail, United are prepared to reignite their interest in Lewandowski as they have decided against signing Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal.
The Colombian was widely expected to join United for a £43m fee at the end of the season following a loan spell from Monaco, but the striker has failed to impress in front of goal.
This season, for club and country, Lewandowski has scored 16 goals in 32 appearances.
