Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old has attracted widespread interest from across Europe this season, leading to rumours linking him away from the French side at the end of the campaign.
According to The Mirror, the Reds have now declared their interest in signing Tchouameni ahead of the summer, with Jurgen Klopp reportedly keen to further strengthen his ranks.
Such a rumour follows the Reds' capture of Porto winger Luis Diaz in January, and the Reds are now said to have identified the midfield as their next area to improve.
The Frenchman has already drawn reported interest from the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, having featured 35 times across domestic and continental action so far this term.
After arriving from Bordeaux in 2020, Tchouameni has made 88 appearances for Monaco, contributing six goals and six assists and surpassing the 100 career appearances mark before turning 22 years old.
