Manchester United have reportedly given themselves a June deadline to wrap up all their transfer deals this summer.
The North-West outfit are expected to have plenty of money to spend when the season finishes, but manager David Moyes is said to be keen on getting business done early.
The club were criticised for their transfer conduct last summer having failed to land a number of big-name targets, with Marouane Fellaini being the only high-profile signing to come through the door.
Moyes managed to secure Juan Mata from Chelsea for a club-record fee of £37.1m in the January window, and it is believed that the Scotsman will try to lure his targets to Old Trafford before the World Cup kicks off on June 12, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos has been touted as a possible recruit, while the future of Robin van Persie remains in doubt.
