Manchester United have reportedly prioritised signing Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish over Leicester City's James Maddison in their search for a new playmaker.
The Red Devils are believed to be in the market for a midfielder and a forward this summer, despite the financial impact caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
United have showed an interest in Leicester ace Maddison, but the Manchester Evening News claims that Grealish is top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wishlist in that department.
Talks between United and Villa are said to have started in February and Solskjaer's side are hopeful of landing the 24-year-old in a cut-price deal should the Villans be relegated.
Meanwhile, the report indicates that Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho and Bayer Leverkusen youngster Kai Havertz are United's top attacking targets.
