Manchester United to complete Pedro deal next week?

Manchester United will complete a deal to sign Barcelona forward Pedro next week, according to reports.

Manchester United have reportedly moved a step closer to completing a deal to sign Barcelona forward Pedro.

After weeks of speculation surrounding the Spaniard's future, recent reports have suggested that United are closing in on landing one of their top transfer targets.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, talks between the clubs have continued this week and the move could be announced as early as Wednesday.

However, reports in Spain have claimed that Pedro, whose chances were rare last season due to the success of attacking trio Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, has been asked to play for Barcelona in Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup final.

United started the new Premier League season by beating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 on Saturday.
