Manchester United are reportedly some way off agreeing a deal with Atletico Madrid for full-back Kieran Trippier.
The Red Devils are believed to have made an opening offer of around £10m for the England international.
Atleti are holding out for closer to £20m, however, and BBC Sport claims that United are not prepared to go that high with their bid.
It is claimed that Trippier is keen on a return back to the Premier League, but that is unlikely to happen this summer due to Atletico's asking price.
The 30-year-old, who started England's Euro 2020 opener against Croatia last week, has previously spent with Manchester City, Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur.
