Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has reportedly demanded showdown talks over his future at the club.
While Matic has made 87 appearances for United in all competitions since joining in 2017, the Serbia international no longer finds himself in the starting lineup on a regular basis.
As a result of not featuring in any of the club's first three Premier League fixtures, The Mirror suggests that the player has begun to ask questions about his role at the North-West giants.
The report says that Matic wants to hold formal talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is showing a preference towards the squad's younger players.
Matic has less than a year remaining on his contract, although United have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
