Former Manchester United frontman Michael Owen has said that he expects to join a new club by the end of the week.
The summer transfer window expires on Friday and the 32-year-old is hopeful of signing for another Premier League club.
"As with a lot of these situations, transfer windows and things like that, a lot of things happen later on in the window when people are refreshing their squads and things like that," the former England striker told BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme.
"So, yes, I have been in contact with quite a few teams and I definitely expect to be donning a new shirt quite soon."
Owen was released by United at the end of last season after three years at Old Trafford.
