Manchester United are reportedly preparing to go head-to-head with Arsenal in the January transfer window for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lucas Moura.
The Red Devils famously tried to sign the Brazilian from Sao Paulo in 2012, but Sir Alex Ferguson pulled the plug on the deal due to a disagreement over price.
The attacker eventually joined Paris Saint-Germain one season later and has made more than 120 appearances in all competitions for the French club.
It is understood that the 23-year-old is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of regular starting action, however, and Arsenal have been linked with a £30m move for the attacker.
According to The Sun, Man United are also very much in the race as head coach Louis van Gaal looks for more speed in the final third.
Lucas has scored three times in 15 Ligue 1 appearances this season.
