Newcastle United have reportedly warned Manchester United off making a move for Sean Longstaff by placing a £50m+ valuation on his head.
The Red Devils are believed to have switched focus to signing the 21-year-old after securing deals for Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Man United are eager to bolster their squad with young homegrown talent this summer and Sky Sports News claims that they will go all out to land Longstaff.
Newcastle are reluctant to sell, however, and it is suggested that their Premier League rivals will have to hand out more than the £50m they spent to sign Wan-Bissaka to get their man.
Longstaff made 13 appearances in his breakthrough campaign for the Magpies before his season was ended early by a knee injury in March.
